« Our wager is a wager on humanity, on Moroccan genius, which we formulate as a pact for high-quality, equitable, humane, and solidary education. »
Since assuming office, we have continually nurtured a positive and constructive proximity with our colleagues, university stakeholders, and partners, driven by a steadfast resolve to advance the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Human Sciences so that it continues to operate with exemplary efficiency and sustained best practices. Both its internal and external performance have grown significantly, and its resources are managed with strict rationality. A significant share of our academic programs and applied research is now firmly anchored within the regional socio-economic fabric. Concurrently, the degree offerings we present directly align with our nation’s strategic priorities. Our campus infrastructure is expanding briskly with the construction of the Research Pavilion and the Creative Arts Center. Groundbreaking for additional buildings is imminent (notably the central administration, a new instructional building, and specialized facilities). The Faculty’s international outreach is expanding through prestigious global partnerships. Scientific publications have surged and, crucially, are progressively internationalizing.
Our administrative philosophy, grounded in an intentional blend of benevolence and rigor, is distinctly forward-looking. We nurture it through our experience, our dedication to open communication, our willingness to engage in self-reflection to move forward, our humanist sensitivity, and a steadfast commitment to transparent truth. This guides our comprehensive consolidation project alongside the initiatives we spearhead today with the collective devotion of all staff members, the collaboration of our partners, the vital energy of FLASH, and the steadfast support of the University President and our Ministry.
We systematically conduct rigorous evaluations of our institutional services across administration, departments, academic tracks, and student societies.
We continue to harmonize our curricula and pedagogical methodologies. To combat academic attrition, we have fortified extracurricular enrichment and peer tutoring, alongside targeted training workshops and leveling bootcamps for incoming students identifying preliminary skill gaps. Above all, our imperative remains the steadfast upholding of equity, transparency, and academic merit.
We have established 5 academic Departments and 3 Research Laboratories, whose combined efforts have enriched and diversified our educational spectrum. FLASH has progressed from 3 foundational bachelor tracks to 8 degree programs, 6 master programs, 2 Excellence Tracks (Bachelor and Master), and a multidisciplinary doctoral program. Our strategic blueprint seeks to safeguard these accomplishments and defend the primary academic calling of the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Human Sciences, while simultaneously cultivating an agile and responsive institution capable of delivering specialized, market-aligned credentials.
Our wager is a wager on humanity, on Moroccan genius, which we formulate as a pact for high-quality, equitable, humane, and solidary education. The promise of acquiring first-rate knowledge and practical expertise is genuine at FLASH: every young student can access the most advanced cultural horizon if they desire it, regardless of their family’s financial background. This is made possible through the dedication of our faculty and administrative corps, and through the structural mechanisms established within our institutional roadmap, which places the student firmly at the core of all our ambitions.
